Day 1 & 2
Finding Interest
Trainees are exposed to each artform, learning the basic techniques and slowly applying them in choreography, song or scenes. They brainstorm and work with the trainers to develop a fun and engaging show.
Day 3 & 4
Finding Inspiration
Trainees deepen their learning by identifying strengths and weaknesses in one other’s performance, The script is confirmed and trainees will experience the rigor and demand of a professional rehearsal. Challenging, the trainees will be stretched beyond their comfort zones.
Day 5 & 6
Finding Brillante
Rehearsals are in full swing. The skill of the performer will be tested based on the application and adaptation of techniques learnt. It is also a time to reflect. What art form brings out your Brillante? Let’s see your creations come to live.
With regards to COVID-19, safe distancing measures are in place to ensure the safety of all students.
CAMP INTRODUCTION
Once again, Talent Academy’s Trio of Departments will come together to bring you Finding Brillante this school holidays!
Finding Brillante is a Performing Arts Immersion Camp for Children aged 7–12 years old who aim to find the star quality in each individual through the discovery of a spark. A spark of interest, passion, and artistic inspiration, for that is the best start to an exhilarating journey in the arts!
Over the course of 6 days, participants will be exposed to Drama, Singing, Dance, and Instrumental Arts through the rigorous process of creating a performance for the final day. The entire process will be video documented daily and sent to the parents after the camp. They will learn the basic techniques and demands of each art form from our team of professionals and discover where their interests lie. We will also recommend a match to the art form we feel the child will grow, excel and shine most.
Trainees will also receive an exclusive Assessment Report from our team of professionals where they are given comprehensive feedback on their performance during the camp. Packed with fun-filled activities such as Poster Designing, Painting of Artwork, and specially curated Masterclasses, this is a camp not to be missed! Join us as we find the Brilliance in you!
CAMP OUTCOMES AND OBJECTIVES
Over the course of one week, 20 trainees will undergo a rigorous and stimulating range of workshops and masterclasses in preparation for a showcase that will encompass all skills introduced including Acting, Singing, Dance, and Instrumental Arts. This camp will not only provide them with the basic techniques and demands of each art forms but more importantly, encourage Teamwork, Perseverance, Confidence, and Responsibility.
At the end of the camp, trainees will receive a report with our Trainers’ comprehensive feedback on their strengths and areas of improvement. We will also recommend a match to the art form we feel the child will grow, excel and shine most.
